Facade - Pyrmont

The Owner’s Corporation of this high rise apartment building were seeking project management of a mandated Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) removal and replacement project.  SPMA worked with the OC to guide them through the initial tendering stage, throughout the works and into the defect warranty period.

 

SPMA played a crucial role in the provision of updates to governing bodies to avoid pecuniary action and achieve a favourable outcome to residents. SPMA successfully prepared tender documentation, tendered the project to a suitable contractor and acted as contract superintendent to the works.

 

As a result of SPMA's engagement and astute tendering processes, the financial impact to the Owners was substantially reduced and compliance achieved within the required timeframe and without pecuniary or legal penalites.

The works included:

  • Provision of scaffold access

  • Demolition of ACP

  • Sourcing upgraded and colour matched replacement panels

  • Replacement of all ACP

  • Successful completion of Fire Orders
